CAMBODIA VISA

Visas for Cambodia can be applied for and issued immediately upon arrival at Pochentong Airport. Guests can complete a Cambodian visa application form (X2) to be submitted to the Immigration Department (ID) upon arrival. Depending upon the number of arriving passengers, approval normally takes 10 minutes and costs US$20.  Visa length 30 days.

There are now several overland routes open to foreign visitors. The earliest land crossing open to foreign visitors has been on the road between Saigon ( Moc Bai) and Phnom Penh. Meanwhile, it has become legal to enter Cambodia overland from Thailand as well. The standard route is via Aranyaprathet (Thailand) and Poipet (Cambodia).

VISA ISSUANCE AT POIPET
A Cambodian visa can now be obtained on the spot at the Poi Pet land border post between Thailand and Cambodia. Cost and procedure as usual USD 20 + 1 passport-sized photo, but expect some "delays" as this is a new formality.
